Melissa Allen, APRN, FNP-BC spent over a decade working inside traditional medicine — and she watched the system fail patients over and over again. Rushed appointments. Weeks-long waits. Bills that made no sense. A healthcare model built around insurance reimbursements instead of human beings.
So she built something different. Melissa opened Myriad Healthcare in Sarasota as a Direct Primary Care clinic — a practice where patients pay one flat monthly fee and get unlimited access to their provider. No co-pays. No deductibles. No phone trees. Just real care, delivered with time and intention.
